Mayoral Message

It is my pleasure to welcome you to The Town of Dover’s Web page.

Our web page is a window to our very historic sea side community

Dover is a small rural Town on the northeast coast of Newfoundland and Labrador

We have over 410 million years of history with The Dover Fault. The Digby B-18 Bomber Crash on January 2, 1942 during WW11 and lets not forget the True Love Story of two strangers (Nick and Dianne) who fell in love during 9/11 on the Dover Fault Lookout Site and was portrayed in the Broadway Musical “Come From Away”

Our Community was incorporated in 1971, with a very proud fishing and logging history, Our residents are proud to call Dover home, We take much pride in our community and are more than happy to showcase it to you all.

I encourage you to visit this web site often and let us know when you plan on visiting us, so we can give you the welcome that you deserve.

Come see our history!
